Curveball Science

I have spent a great deal of time lately in the stands at outdoor events. After the past few years, I am completely enjoying getting outside and taking part in various sporting events with friends and family. Most recently, I was at a softball game and we were talking about the “ins and outs” of the game.

Pitching came up; more specifically, what happens when the pitcher throws a curveball? Well, you know me, not knowing enough about this, I had to go home and investigate further!

Let’s get started.
