It’s Time To Get a Little Dirty

This week we are going to get DIRTY!! With summer here, I absolutely love getting outside to enjoy the weather and of course, why not do some science in the meantime? Let’s get started.

*Remember to ask an adult before doing this experiment.

Materials
• small gardening shovel
• measuring cup (preferable metal or plastic to take outside
• four soil samples from various places
• four zipper type bags
• permanent marker
• scrap paper
• magnifying glass
• science notebook
• pencil
• strainer or metal sieve
• table to work at
